Alumni Chapters

The Office of Alumni Engagement will pilot alumni chapters in Atlanta and Charlotte over the next two years. This will give us an opportunity to develop a standard for more alumni chapters to form in the future. Our hope is that by opening alumni chapters, it will make it easier for alumni to feel connected to LR while living outside the Hickory area.

The Alumni Association is here to promote fellowship and community among alumni, as well as build, maintain and enhance the relationship between LR and its alumni. Consequently, the purpose of the alumni chapter is to encourage an organized effort to become more knowledgeable and actively support Ï㽶´«Ã½. All LR alumni are automatically members of the Alumni Association.

Alumni Chapters are led by a group of chapter representatives who live in the chapter area and have committed to plan and execute chapter events. These volunteers are instrumental to the alumni chapter success. If you are interested in serving as an alumni chapter representative in the Charlotte or Triad areas, reach out to Diego Sanjuan at diego.sanjuan2@lr.edu.

Chapter membership is open to all LR alumni, degree and non-degree holders, without the collection of dues.
