  • University Storm Recovery Updates

    UPDATE: Monday, Sept. 30, 5 p.m.
As of a few minutes ago, power has been fully restored to the Hickory campus. Every building should now have power and internet. In addition, internet is now available across the Columbia campus.

We have learned that our Asheville center facility received minimal damage and has power. However, the building does not have water or internet. We continue to identify options to support our students, faculty and staff in the Asheville area.

On Thursday, Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m., the LR Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony Concert will perform its first concert of the year, “Skyward!” at P.E. Monroe Auditorium on the Hickory campus. This event was originally scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 1. If you can safely travel, we hope you can join us for a musical outlet for our community as we recover from Hurricane Helene.

Thank you for your continued support.

Leave a Lasting Mark on the World

Give

A student’s experience starts with you and your financial support of the university. Gifts that make every student's journey possible.

Whether you are a graduate, parent, current student, faculty/staff or friend of 㽶ý, you know it is a place that is making a difference in the lives of our students and the community every day.

Your financial support makes it possible for the university to offer a one-of-a-kind learning experience for students and opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom.

Your support provides the flexibility for LR to respond to changing circumstances and to take advantage of new opportunities. It helps to bridge the gap between the actual cost of educating a student and the comprehensive fee.

No matter the size, every gift truly counts.

Ways to Give

We are eager and available to help you decide the best ways to make your investment in the future of the university and all LR students.

We accept a variety of tax-deductible gifts from a one-time or recurring gift, endowed scholarship, planned and estate giving, gifts of stocks or securities or honoring a loved one's memory.

The generous giving of donors, without a doubt, made it possible for me to attend LR. Nearly 100 percent of students attend LR with some financial aid.
