The university has named longtime employee Scott Woodard to serve as director of conferences and events.

Faith has always played a prominent role in Kristen Baker’s life, and the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary continues to shape her faith and ministry. After working in corporate America for several years, yet feeling the call to ministry, Baker started classes in the Master of Divinity program in 2019.

Ï㽶´«Ã½ is grieving the loss of one of our student-athletes. Omari Alexander, a 19-year-old sophomore from Concord, North Carolina and member of the LR football team, was killed overnight on November 20 in an off-campus incident in Hickory.

Ï㽶´«Ã½ will receive $4.3 million as part of the North Carolina state budget that was signed into law on November 18.
