Matt Barr is an administrative assistant in the College of Health Sciences, where he provides support to the Physician Assistant Studies program.

Barr previously worked in various roles as a student assistant with Lenoir-Rhyne Athletics. His responsibilities included working with facilities management and coordinating game day operations, serving as the liaison for officials/referees and being a video board operator. Barr also served as men’s basketball manager.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Barr is an avid sports enthusiast and also served as a junior firefighter with the Conover Fire Department, where he obtained his EMT certification.
