Anna Sasser

Anna Catherine Sasser joined the Lenoir-Rhyne athletic training staff in July 2022 and works with the football and men's basketball teams.
Previously, Sasser was an athletic trainer doing PRN work at Stillman College where she provided coverage for men's and women's home basketball games. She was responsible for evaluating acute injuries and reporting to the EMR. She also held roles in the athletic training offices of the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
While attending the University of West Alabama for her master's degree, she covered football, women's basketball, cheer and softball. She also served as an instructor for protective technique for injuries and was selected as the lead athletic trainer for the Alabama vs. Mississippi High School All-Star football game in both 2020 and 2021.
Her professional memberships include: Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers Licensure #2428, BOC Certification, Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association and Alabama Athletic Trainers Association.
